1. Creative Service Policies

1.1 Time and Labor. A clear work schedule stating when a project will begin and end will be given to the client. Artist availability will be stated to ensure client understands when it is appropriate to discuss project details.

1.2 Amount Due. Commission price is absolute and cannot be negotiated. Price can change depending on:

1.2a Contigencies. In the case of an unexpected event (e.g. accidents, global emergencies, etc.), the price will be adjusted for the change in schedule. This applies to both parties involved.

1.2b Changes in Production. This includes addition of roughs, revisions, resolution, and kill fees. See 1.3.

1.3 Clauses. Final price can be affected by the following:

1.3a Rough Drafts. A set amount of rough drafts will be allowed free of charge; said amount will be stated in the contract. The client will be charged a fee for any subsequent drafts requested exceeding the maximum.

1.3b Revisions. A set amount of revisions will be allowed free of charge; said amount will be stated in the contract. The client will be charged a fee for any subsequent revisions requested exceeding the maximum.

1.3c Resolution. A fee will be charged for every resolution request outside of the original project's resolution.

1.3d Kill Fees. Should a client choose to terminate the project, a fee will be charged. Kill fees are divided into one of two categories:

1.3d (i) Cancellation. At any stage in production, a client may choose to terminate the project altogether. In this case, the fee will be charged based on when the project was cancelled.

1.3d (i) (a) First Stage (Rough Drafts). A fee of 25% of the original price will be charged.

1.3d (i) (b) Mid Stage (Process/Revision). A fee of 30-60% of the original price will be charged.

1.3d (i) (c) Final Stage (Completion). A fee of 65-99% of the original price will be charged.

1.3d (ii) Rejection. Should the client reject the project, a fee will be charged based on completion.

1.3d (ii) (a) During Production. A fee of 25-50% of the original price will be charged.

1.3d (ii) (b) Complete. A fee of 50-100% of the original price will be charged.

2. Copyrights and Licensing

2.1 Copyrights. After discharge, the client will have sole ownership of the work and therefore all copyrights to it. HOWEVER, they are prohibited from claiming to have created the work themselves and must credit the original artist for production.

2.2 Licensing. After discharge, the client may ONLY use the work for the purposes stated in the contract. The client is prohibited from using or distributing any drafts or former revisions of the finished work. Any and all unauthorized use of the finished product will result in legal action. Authorized third parties by the client may use the work, but MUST follow all copyright and licensing terms.
